Windows Tips - Shortcut To shutdown

Hey guys. this is a simple trick and can be used as a shortcut to shutdown your computer.


For this trick you need to know how to make batch files. CLICK HERE TO KNOW ABOUT THEM


STEPS TO FOLLOW

1. Open notepad

2. Type the following without the line

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

@echo off
shutdown -s -t 10 -c "bye bye"
exit

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Save it as a batch file. That is *.bat.

Thats it !!!!! there you go!!!!! A shortcut to shut down your computer.

BUT BEFORE YOU DOUBLE CLICK !!!!! SAVE NECCESSARY FILES !!!!!

ALTERNATIVES
instead of "-s" You can use any one of these

-r restarts computer
-l logs off computer
