STEPS TO FOLLOW
1. First of all you need a software called Resource Hacker. To download this software CLICK HERE !!! . You will also need a software called winrar to unrar the file. CLICK HERE TO GET WINRAR.
2. Load "explorer.exe"(DEFAULT: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe) by clicking on open and then navigating to WINDOWS folder and selecting explorer.exe
3. Some stuff will be written on the left hand side. Expand String Table by clicking on th e+ next to it. Then expand 37 and the select 1033.
4. On the right hand side you will see "start". Change that to what ever you want. (like Click Me!!). Remember to enclose it within Double apostrophes(") otherwise it wont work.
5. Click on Compile which will be on top.
6. Now read carefully. Go to File> SAVE AS and save it in the same folder as "mywin.exe" without the qoutes. Dont cilck File>Save.
7. Now comes the interesting part. Go to Start>Run and enter "regedit" without qoutes.
8. Navigate to the following using the the lefthand side of the new dialogue box which comes up.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\
winlogon
9. Now on the right hand side you will see "string"
10. Double click it and a dialogue box will come up showing explorer.exe. Here you type "mywin.exe" without the qoutes and click OK.
11. Press F5 to refresh the registry.
12. Reboot your computer.
And voila!!!! When your computer restarts your start button will be changed !!!!
